3 hours · 2 truckloads
Cluttered two-car garage packed with old furniture, boxes, and yard equipment before Long Island Junk Co. cleanout
Before

A Hicksville homeowner's two-car garage had been functioning as a storage unit for 15 years. Two broken lawn mowers, a chest freezer, four mismatched dining chairs, boxes of clothing, and an entire set of old kitchen cabinets were stacked floor-to-ceiling.

After

Three hours and two truck loads later — completely empty. The homeowner parked their car inside for the first time in a decade. Usable items were donated to a Hicksville-area charity.

Full Basement Cleanout

Garden City, Nassau County

7 hours · 3 truckloads
Packed basement with old furniture, appliances, and boxes before cleanout in Garden City
Before

A Garden City colonial's unfinished basement held 20 years of accumulated belongings — a working NordicTrack gathering dust, three mismatched area rugs, a sectional sofa, a broken washing machine, holiday decorations in 40+ bins, and boxes of books no one had opened since 2004.

After

One day, four crew members, and three full truck loads. The basement was broom-swept and ready for the contractor to begin finishing work the following morning. Books went to a library donation program. The exercise equipment went to a local YMCA.

Estate Cleanout

Huntington, Suffolk County

2 days · 5 truckloads
B
Before

A 4-bedroom Huntington colonial passed to adult children after their mother's passing. The home had been lived in since 1967 — original kitchen appliances, a full dining room set, three bedrooms of furniture, a sunroom crammed with wicker and plants, and a basement workshop with every tool imaginable. The family needed it cleared in two days for the estate attorney.

After

Two days, two crews rotating in six-hour shifts. Fourteen cubic yards of furniture, appliances, and household goods were hauled away. Three Goodwill trucks picked up everything the family approved for donation. The attorney confirmed the property was show-ready by Thursday. The family sent a handwritten thank-you card.

Hot Tub & Patio Removal

Massapequa, Nassau County

2.5 hours · 1 truckload
B
Before

A Massapequa backyard held a 600-gallon six-person hot tub that had stopped working in 2018 and been covered with a rotting wood tarp ever since. Surrounding it: a rusted metal patio set, two deteriorating lounge chairs, a broken Weber grill, and a cracked concrete planter that had become a wasp nest.

After

The crew drained the hot tub on-site, cut the shell into manageable panels, and hauled every piece including the foam insulation and the plumbing hardware. The patio furniture, grill, and planter went in the same load. Two hours start to finish. The homeowner had already called a contractor to pour a new patio by the time we left.

Renovation Debris Removal

Smithtown, Suffolk County

2 hours · 1 truckload
B
Before

A Smithtown kitchen gut renovation left a contractor's staging area filled with demolished cabinets, old countertops, a 1970s-era Traulsen refrigerator, a section of dismantled soffit, a pile of linoleum flooring, and approximately 40 gallons of mixed construction debris in contractor bags. The general contractor needed it cleared before the tile crew arrived.

After

Called at 7am, on-site by 9am. The crew worked around the active job site, staged debris on tarps at the curb without blocking the driveway, and had everything loaded and cleared by 11am. The tile contractor arrived at noon to an empty, clean staging area. The GC now calls us for every Smithtown-area job.

Attic & Garage Haul-Away

Westbury, Nassau County

6 hours · 2.5 truckloads
B
Before

A Westbury family was downsizing from a 4-bedroom colonial to a 2-bedroom condo. The pull-down attic was stacked eight feet high with luggage, holiday decorations, old toys, and clothing bins. The detached garage held a riding lawnmower (seized), two bicycles with flat tires, a broken snow blower, lawn and garden tools from 30 years of ownership, and a refrigerator that had never been connected to power.

After

One crew, one long day. The riding mower was loaded with a ramp; the snow blower was drained and hauled. Three bicycles in repairable condition went to a community bike program. Boxes of children's toys and games went to a local family shelter. The family closed on their condo sale two weeks later with no storage issues.
